Aangan uses an essential session cookie to connect this browser to its private workspace. There are no advertising or analytics cookies in the current implementation.
Essential cookie
_aangan_key contains signed and encrypted session information, including a workspace identifier and request-security information. It is marked Secure and HttpOnly in production and uses SameSite=Lax. Its lifetime is 30 days from the most recent update. Without it, saving and retrieving a private workspace will not work.
Server data
Your saved ideas, profile draft and brief are stored in our database. Use your workspace to export or delete the active record. Clearing cookies loses your access, but does not immediately delete server data. Daily cleanup removes records after 30 days without a save or change.
Earlier preview localStorage
Older versions used aangan-saved, aangan-studios and aangan-draft-… in your browser’s localStorage. These records remain local and are not automatically imported. They have no automatic expiry. Download them from the workspace before clearing them if you want to keep a copy.
Manage browser storage
Your browser’s privacy settings let you view and remove this site’s cookie and local data. Other Aangan deployments or domains have separate storage. See our Privacy notice for server processing and contact details.
